Meet the Cushing Counseling Team

We are a small team of sex, couples and trauma therapists who do this work on purpose — not as a sideline. Read who we are in our own words, then book a free fifteen-minute consultation with whoever sounds like the right fit. 3 of 4 are currently accepting new clients.

How we work

Every clinician here is trained specifically in sexual health, not simply willing to talk about it. That means the awkward conversation you have been rehearsing is one we have several times a day — about desire, erections, pain, orgasm, betrayal, kink, shame — and it will not be the first time anyone in the room has heard it.

Sessions are held online by secure video across Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Florida. Which state you are sitting in decides who can legally see you, so licensure is printed on every card above rather than buried in a footer.
